music + healing

Have you been craving deep rest and an intimate meeting with yourself?

Have you been feeling isolated, longing for closeness with like-hearted humans?

Are you curious to explore the patriarchal/colonizer wound in a trauma-informed space?

Are you eager to use your voice to sing, share, reveal, advocate, protest, speak truth to power, and be witnessed in an anti-oppression, collective liberation-centered community?

I'm so glad you're here!

Song Circles are a special container that have the ability to enhance our relationship to authenticity, creativity, intimacy, and aliveness!

Using music, mantra, protest songs, grief songs, sound, vibration, communication skills, and connection games I’ve gathering from over a decade of spiritual seeking and trauma healing including The Artist’s Way, Authentic Relating, Non-Violent Communication, Yogic Wisdom from India (mantra, meditation, pranayama, and Ayurveda); as well as my studies in social justice, and the Red Road, (Indigenous teachings from Central America).

I am offering a co-created space where we can come as we are - as our authentic, beautiful, messy selves - and be met with acceptance, encouragement, warmth, and love.

We will sing, chant, dance, and share in a neuro-inclusive, trauma-informed, and accessible environment. We will always negotiate access needs to the absolute best of our ability to include as many humans as possible. Captions are always on, and cameras on are greatly appreciated for this offering.

This offering is open to *gender-oppressed humans* and the exchange is sliding scale / economic justice pricing.

Group singing is a somatic, visceral way to move energy through the body, express, grieve, heal, release, and experience heart coherence.

Our songs come from my travels and study of several traditions like American folk/gospel/spiritual, protest songs, mantras from the Hindu tradition, and even children’s songs! They are all repetitive, mostly sung in call and response, and relatively simple to grasp - beginners are absolutely welcome!

Circles are inherently equitable. And although we’ll be online, our virtual circle will promote unity, presence, and inclusion. Each member of the circle is a valuable space holder; placing fire, heart, & source energy on the “altar” at the center.

“In the circle we are equal

There is no one in front of you

And there’s no one behind you.

No one is above you:

No one is below you.

The circle is sacred because it is designed to create Unity.”

- Lakota Wisdom

I can’t wait to CIRCLE up with you!
